Gina at Poci

I encountered this magnificent rock in the mid-eighties while staying at a friend's vineyard in Tuscany and spent hours studying and drawing it. I never quite knew how it was going to reappear in my life.

Fifteen years later while pondering the Verdant issue, I found myself wanting to picture Gina (the self-given human name for a female ET contact of Philip Krapf, whose report "The Contact Has Begun" outlines the proposed Verdant plans) in a natural human context and the image of that Tuscan rock came shimmering back to my visual imagination.
