Terra Incognito

I’m hovering in the air a thousand feet above the chain of mountains that stretch down from the Rockies and border the Rio Grande.
The world is transformed, changed magically, overnight. The plants and trees are returned. The cities have disappeared and a gentle mantle of moss covers their absence. Many fewer people remain. Life is simple and glorious. Finally the Earth can rest. We’ve rejoined the galactic community. The Dark Ages are over. All is well.
