I suspect that one of the most profound of challenges in life’s journey is how we individually — and collectively — handle the apparent polarization of opposites. Living in a binary system — ricocheting sometimes between the extreme choices, and balancing at other times on the pivot of a seesaw — it is easy to miss that, in reconciling opposites, a third path opens that contains the essence of both, and yet is a resolution that transcends both conflicting elements.
